Chakkai Attam Folk Dance of Tamil Nadu:
Chakkai Attam is one of the most ancient folk dances of Tamil Nadu. This folk dance is one of the most important forms of folk dances in Tamil region ofIndia. There is the word ‘Attam’ means any type of folk dance, while this word added by ‘Chakkai’ which means a special kind or form of folk dance. In this kind of folk dance of Tamil Nadu people prepare wooden pieces made out of a teak. These wooden pieces made out in small chunks. Dancers wear those wooden pieces in their fingers.
