Gujarat is the place of various communities and tribes. Each of those tribes has their own tribal folk dance to celebrate their folk culture. Dang is a district of Gujarat which is famous for its Dangi Nritya in all over the state. Dangi Nritya is a tribal dance and this community belongs to the Dangs District of Gujarat. It is a group dance of people. Dangi dance is performed by both male and female. They performed this dance jointly, and link their hands, shaping a series to perform as serpentine actions. Their activities are goes on very fast and generate a variety of patterns in a portion of a second.
Dangi dance is famous dance of this unique type of folk dance of Gujarat. During the performance of Dangi Dance there are about twenty seven ranges of steps and each of the steps is called as ‘Chala’. The dancers also perform athletics. They performed as gymnastic activities. The most remarkable portion of this folk dance structure is the making of a human pyramid by the dancers. There are two major musical instruments to perform this folk dance of Gujarat called Pawri and Dhol. All dancers move their body with the rhythm of both beautiful musical instruments.
