Satara is another type of two set of flute. It is also very famous among the tribe Langas of Rajasthan. Satara is a combination of two flute one long flute to generate or create rhythm tic sound and other for providing drone. it is another flute in the position of vertical with a single hollow tube to generate new and smooth rhythm. In this tube the player whistles to create music. When he is playing the flutes he can use gurgling song on his throat or can actual singing.
Satara can be play by a unique method or technique called circular breathing. A Player has to maintain some extra breath in his cheeks and use the breath in continues manner.
During the performance he can also take breath through his nose. Satara is also famous a musical instrument in the Rajasthan region and Punjab region. It is a good and flowing musical instrument.
